Project overview

Created the product logo and bottle in 2018 for In-store smartphone coating services. This time we need to arrange a box package to present the product to the general public. The initial order for the packaged version is to emphasize Japanese quality and safety, especially for children.

Product

  • Made of 100% pure glass
  • Actual proof of antibacterial and antiviral capability
  • The versatility of the liquid coating
  • Protective strength
  • Safety

Primary Research findings

Several functions—We conducted a brief study among approximately 20 potential users to understand the priority of information is appropriate. We observed that they wished to use the product to “make things long-lasting” rather than focusing on “preventing viruses” or “protecting with safety.”

The ability to protect anything is so amazing that the other features seem hazy.
Since Covid is so prevalent here, I think the coating product will have limited effectiveness against the virus.

The initial lot is not so large because this will be a test sale.
Because the unit price would go up if we had to make an original mold for the package, we asked HAGURUMA inc. to handle it by arranging a ready-made mold.

The contrast between the fluorescent color, foil stamping, and the strong whiteness of the paper gives it a clean look.
The illustrations show its versatility and enjoyability in use.
